Young Volunteer Projects

Our Community Ambassadors programme is a great way for young people to get more involved in SYEP. Funded by Clarion Futures, they organise and help out with many aspects of our youth project. Recent events have included a 1950’s tea dance, community teddy bears picnic and developing sensory garden at Sprowston Library.

Another project which SYEP young committee and also young people who attend put together a magazine for the young people of Sprowston. They are hoping to get it published and sent to every household in Sprowston. Patrick Prekopp from Just Sprowston is helping the group with this project.

Zombies vs Pirates Sponsored walk was organised by Conner Andrews – Young Committee Member… We raised £326.67p on the day

“I think the sponsored walk was a good chance for everyone to get together and also look back at how lucky we are. I think we did really well to raise as much money as we did and it’s good knowing it’s going towards a good cause…” Conner Andrews 16
